Pre-cut coconut fibre blocks for general-purpose void-fill and cushioning inside shipping cartons. Unlike our custom-moulded Foam Cushioning inserts, Foam Blocks are standard modular shapes, ready to use without product-specific tooling. Same protection as PE and EPE foam, zero off-gassing, no microplastic shedding.

Specifications:

Applications

  • Electronics: Cavity-cut blocks holding devices, chargers, and accessories in place inside cartons

  • Glassware: Slotted foam-replacement blocks for bottles, jars, and drinkware multi-packs

  • Industrial parts: Cushioning for valves, fittings, and machined components during transit

  • E-commerce fulfilment: Void-fill blocks that replace loose peanuts and air pillows

  • Pharma: Secure hold for vials, kits, and diagnostic equipment

Advantages of Coir

  • No tooling needed: Standard block shapes that slot into cartons for immediate use. No moulds, no minimum design lead time. For fully custom-shaped inserts, see our Coir Foam Cushioning

  • 1:1 foam replacement: Same block format, same cavity-cut approach. Fits into existing carton sizes with no packaging redesign.

  • No plastic tax: PE and EPE foam face rising EPR levies. Coir blocks are fully exempt.

  • Naturally shock-absorbent: Interlocking coir fibres absorb impact without the brittleness of moulded pulp alternatives.

  • Plastic-free cushioning: PE and EPE foam blocks fragment into micro-particles over time. Coir blocks stay structurally intact through the full transit cycle.

  • No off-gassing: Unlike PU foam, coir emits zero VOCs. Safe for food-adjacent and pharma packaging.
